Hello everyone! Sorry I missed the party on Saturday, was in a cookie marathon and was not able to pull away. I understand Norma had a wonderful time.
I think she is getting bored at Mom's, she needs company, really bad. Just give a jingle before you visit to make sure Norma is home and not it therapy.
We have encouraged her to have her friends help her decorate her bedroom, it needs to be her room and feel comfortable, so........ It could even use a new color of paint.
Norma needs her visits just as much now as she did before, so please come over to see her. Thanks to those of you that have come, she really enjoys seeing her friends. She needs more stimulation than what Mom can give her.
All of you are very welcome to visit and stay as long as Norma has the energy.

Thanks for the update, Karen. How nice to hear that Norma had a wonderful time at the party. It sounded like such a nice evening and I regret that I wasn't able to attend. We certainly had Norma in our thoughts that night as we do every day. We love you, Norma.

Will you have a themed bedroom? Blue Hawaii? Tropical-Sunken Gardens? Andy Warhol? (Uh-oh! I don't want to scare Mrs. Doris Wolford, the Home Owner!!) Tee-hee! And, now that I think of it: I wish you could help me re-do my own bedroom--it's a mess! The wall is a vanilla-merangue (sp?) color which you know is just not me! Sheesh!! I'll yack on a little bit, since I can't drop by to visit you in NoVI...Kurt went up to the attic to get Christmas decorations down, and discovered termites up there! UGH! We have to move out, get the house tented for 3 days of fumigating--my five cats have to get their vaccinations updated so they can be boarded--Happy Holidays from Sunny Florida! The Christmas Party at my job was yesterday, during an extended lunch hour & we had fun at that. Then back to work! Neighbors' holiday lights look lovely, even with their palm trees and No Snow!! You have a bunch of snow, now, right? I'll write you a longer letter, in your Christmas card, and mail it this weekend. I'm SO GLAD you are out of Danto & with family & friends for the holidays!! ReplyDeleteI dreamt last night/early this a.m. that you were talking-again. We were together, in west Detroit somewhere, and you were speaking--and I just looked at you with wide eyes, a big smile and my mouth dropped open!! And you started telling me all your feelings since your stroke occurred and what you couldn't say all this time...& you were giving your opinions to everyone (even nearby strangers!)--there was No Stopping You!!! The rest of the dream was we stopped at a store to pick up Juicy Juice and drop it off at my boss' house--around Greenfield Rd., not Rosedale Park, but near there. It was amazing & so fun to be jabbermouths again together!! I have been DYING ALL DAY to tell you that I dreamt this for the 3rd time!! You are gonna succeed, Girl Friend--you will break free and talk our faces off, I know it! I love you!! I'll phone you and tell you the dream, too, of course! XOXO ~ Suzee-Suzee! ;D
